[Az-Geocaching] question about the map60CS

DC,

I have the 60C and like it very much, what little I have been able to
test with the rain and all. I shied away from the 60CS because of the
extra power needed for the real time compass. I don't know really how
much difference there is in the battery life between the two but I read
that the compass in the CS model does use some power. Can't help you
with the map software question because I don't use map programming. I
watch the waypoint numbers and use a good old AAA map. Easier for my
simple mind..

All the best with your new GPS when it comes in.

Hubby is determined to see me get the Garmin map60CS (which I have been coveting for awhile now) but I am thinking it may not do what I need. That is -be able to plug in an address and have it tell you how to get there..like MapQuest on the net does. I know you need to buy additional software but how up to date is it what with Queen Creek building entire new cities to the south end of the valley practically on a weekly basis. Does anyone have the software/map60cs and know what all this cute machine can do? thanks, dc
