[Az-Geocaching] Question on Difficult Caches

I have a question I want to throw out to all. I had a situation on one of my caches today that a fellow cacher did
not just give a clue on where to find it but just gave the end coordinates. If this was a easy cache I might not have
an issue, but this cache was rated a 4, and for the reason that is was made to be difficult. The cache in question is
the neighborhood park cache. For the simple reason, of making it more difficult, the coordinates to the second stage
only lead you to the area, and from there you have to follow the clues. In reading some of the early logs, the clues
were followed and the coordinates were found with some work. But is that not why caches are rated? If not we would
just have one rating for terrain. I know some of the Wyle E caches and Team Chump, along with Lazy K's are and can be
very difficult to solve. But when it is complete it is an accomplishment. It is dis-heartening when an attempt to go
the extra mile to make it a challenge, to have it handed to cachers.

So my question to the community what are your feelings on this subject.
