[Az-Geocaching] MS Streets & Trips

For the longest time, I used Andy's method with EasyGPS. Then, I
discovered GSAK. I take the zipped pq and drop it into GSAK which
unzips it automatically. From GSAK, I export a gpx file to my ppc. As
part of the export process, I rename the file to match the name of the
S&T map. I copy it into the same exact directory that the map file is
in. When I open GPXSonar and export the pushpin file, it will
automatically open S&T and show the cache locations. I also use GSAK
to upload to my gps.

One of the benefits of using GSAK is it uses "smart names" to rename
the waypoint. This gives the waypoint a more meaningful name instead
of GCxxxx. I am at work so don't have access but let's say there is a
cache called "AJ's super cache" and it's waypoint is GC123ab. Smart
name will change the waypoint name from GC123ab to something like "AJs
Super" and that is what displays on my gps. At first I didn't think
that would be any good. But now that I have used it, it really is a
great feature.
