I had the same experience with my "Favorite Things II " cache(check zip 
code 85718 if you want to see the cache), but as soon as I explained the 
significance and beauty of my chosen things, and why the cache had to be 
a multi-virtual cache, they approved it. So I think they just don't 
recognize trees as historical or interesting in themselves, but once you 
plead your case, they understand. So go for it, and what's the name of 
your cache, so I can go find it???
