If anyone is going to be in the Prescott area this weekend they might take
a look? - Ken

This is a normal-sized cache

One of Seven (Peavine)

This cache has not been approved yet. Once it has been approved, it will
be listed.

N 34 35.493 W 112 24.589

Difficulty: 2 Terrain: 2.5

Hike along the Peavine Trail north of Prescott.

The cache is a white topped Igloo one gallon jug that is wrapped with duct
tape. It contains the log book, Prissy Kitty (with Travel Bug), an audio
book by David Guterson, an old pocket knife, finger nail clippers (new), a
small carabiner, a belt and buckle (about 28 inches), a new deck of Old
Maid, and a disposable flashlight. A friend through in a few more things.
Drive north out of Prescott on US 89. You will need to cross Granite Creek
and approach the cache from the east side of Watson Lake Leave your
vehicle at the parking area: N 34 34.524 W 112 25.644 The trail is for
hikers, bikers, and horse people. Sorry no motors. The walk is along the
old Peavine railroad that came into Prescott, so it is flat and fairly
smooth. I took my mountain bike to place the cache. It is a little over a
mile to the site. Also, it is about 100 yards off of the railroad bed.
RPrissy KittyS (Travel Bug) was waiting for a lift to another cache on
February 1. Hope she is able to hit the trail again soon. - Lincoln
